Exhibition: Protestfest

Terrill exhibited her 06.12.19 series at YARGA productions Protestfest, a pop up exhibition, concert series, and charity benefit on Sunday November 13th.

"For anyone who is scared, angry, hurt, disappointed, or confused about the results of the 2016 election, we want to offer a space of protest, solidarity, and community.
Our goal is to bring artists from as many genres, backgrounds and mediums together in Solidarity against the racism, sexism, homophobia and general xenophobia that has taken hold.
We aim to respect everyone in every aspect of their experience, including but not limited to their gender, sexual orientation, race, class, ability, religion, and culture."

Curated by Evan Fusco.

"In one’s life what does art do for us, what purpose should it fulfill, how should it affect us? This show presents a group of artists whose work inspires tenderness either in the way they approach the viewer, or the way the viewer approaches the work. Whether it be a large scale charcoal drawing, a series of prose and poems, or a wrapped and painted object, each work pokes at how the way we approach our world is just as important as the way it approaches us."
